make - 10 Overnight Oats Recipes That Are Full of Flavor, Fiber, and Protein. Love these recipes from Well + Good. I’ve been making a lot of oatmeal recently - It’s hearty, filling, and FODMAP friendly. I love that it’s also a great base for whatever I have in the fridge/pantry at the moment. I usually add banana, almond or peanut butter, cacao nibs, and berries depending on how recently I last went to the grocery store! This is also a great (and simple) recipe.

refresh - I recently read somewhere that you should replace your underwear every 6-12 months….just going to let that sink in! Yeah I definitely don’t do that. SO just ordered a few new sets including this classic one from Calvin Klein. Here’s an article debunking the semi-annual purge theory however still felt like it was time for a refresh!

go - Got kids? Thinking of hitting the road this Summer? I discovered kid & coe through a girlfriend last year and it seems like a great tool for traveling families. She’s used it several times and highly recommends it for finding kid-friendly homes to rent around the country (and the world). We are looking at a few places for a road trip in August!

store - I’m obsessed with seagrass and jute baskets for the home. I love the natural texture of them and they are a great addition to virtually any space: on the kitchen counter for produce, as a planter, as a bread basket, even to organize toys. You can never have enough in my opinion! I’ve had these for a while. I take them out in the summer and usually fill them with tortilla chips but they can also be used to store utensils or napkins if you’e having a casual dinner with friends. I also LOVE this one from Jenni Kayne. You can use my code ArtemisT15 for 15% off!

British Vogue - “I’ve Experienced The Insidious Chill Of Casual Racism”: Why The #StopAsianHate Hashtag Is So Important by Andrea Cheong.

Architectural Digest - Step Inside Asia Baker Stokes's Charming Locust Valley Home. A 1930s stable has become a lively home for the decorator and her young family. Gorgeous!

Newsweek - Man Finds Tooth of Megalodon, Biggest Shark to Ever Live, in South Carolina. I never knew so much about prehistoric creatures until I had boys! Seriously though, the Megalodon is fascinating.

goop - What Can We Learn from Spontaneous Remissions? Over eighteen years of clinical practice, Jeffrey Rediger, MD, has documented numerous examples of people diagnosed with cancer who unexpectedly showed complete remission.

hair - How beautiful is this set of gold shell hair pins? Love these for a wedding or even a casual celebration and the reviews sound wonderful. These would also make a lovely Mother’s Day gift!

heart - I always get asked about our heart plates and bowls. I originally purchased them in Belgium and haven’t been able to find the source but The White Company always has beautiful options and they ship to the US! Love this marble cutting stone and how sweet are these heart-shaped ramekins? Perfect for making little individual peach or blueberry crisps. Just ordered this seagrass heart bread basket. You could also put it in a powder room for hand towels.

sandals - I love St. Agni. Their collections are always beautifully modern and feminine and so easy to wear and style. These leather sandals are the perfect creamy bone color. Available here in an ankle tie version, and here in a simple flat.

Terry - As loungwear and streetwear continue to collide, our options are only getting more comfortable. One Spring trend I can get behind (or into) is Terry cloth. The fabric, which brings back memories of Ashton Kutcher in That 70’s Show, is popping up in ever silhouette like this playsuit from the new-to-me brand Terry. It also comes in this very pretty sky blue. Zara also has this super cute tie sweatshirt in the perfect grassy green.

House & Garden - Kitchen shelves to maximise your storage space. Everyone could do with more storage in their kitchen, and these kitchen shelves, whether freestanding or wall-mounted, are sure to help.

Architectural Digest - Porcelain-Inspired Fashion Is Having a Moment. Adidas, Tory Burch, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, and more are revitalizing the 2,000-year-old medium.

National Geographic - First-ever study of all Amazon greenhouse gases suggest the forest is worsening climate change. The first broad look at all of the gases that affect how the Amazon works—not just CO2—reveals a system on the brink.

eat - Goop just launched goopkitchen. Currently they only have one location which is in Santa Monica but it seems like this is something they will be rolling out across the US! Click HERE to see their menu. Fingers crossed that NYC is next on the list because this sounds and looks delicious!

watch - Currently watching in the Korkidis House: Frank and I watched The Trial of The Chicago 7 on Netflix last weekend and we both agree it was very good. Click HERE to watch the preview. I highly recommend it. I’ve also been watching Ginny and Georgia. It’s sweet and cute - reminds me of a modern day Gilmore Girls. Also on Netflix!

jacket - I’m obsessed with this woven jacket. It feels very elevated despite its $49 price tag and I love the large pockets, rounded collar, and fringe detailing. A great transitional piece! Also not quite the “shacket” which I know is a trend right now but this feels more timeless.

Outdoor Spaces: As the temperatures are rising on the East Coast I’m getting the itch to work on planning our “garden room”. At the end of last Summer we pulled almost all of our plantings out in our (tiny) back yard and are starting over. It was a mess! So excited to create a special outdoor space for us to enjoy. npr - Yard-Sale Bowl Revealed To Be Rare Chinese Artifact Worth Up To $500,000. An unidentified Connecticut man bought the bowl from a yard sale near New Haven last year, and later emailed photos to Sotheby's seeking an evaluation, according to The Associated Press. It dates back to the Ming dynasty of the early 1400’s.

New York Times - Mothers All Over Are Losing It. Pandemic life has made us feel more insecure about the aspects of our parenting we were already most insecure about. Mothers have disproportionately lost their jobs and financial security during this pandemic, and those who do work find that the burdens of family life fall disproportionately on them.

npr - 5 Medical Appointments You Should Stop Putting Off. I too have put off appointments this year. Especially for the first 3-4 months of the quarantine/lockdown but as we approach the one year mark, it is time to revisit these must-have check-ins. Still too nervous? Try scheduling a telemedicine appointment first so that the doctor can assess your risks.

Architectural Digest - Step Inside the Chic London Townhouse of Jamb London Founder Will Fisher. The antiques aficionado transformed this aging East End building–once a wig maker’s shop–into a beautiful city home.

Past items include a pair of their cult favorite cloud socks and a handcrafted Oaxacan mug. Sign me up!

design - Love this neutral wool blend striped rug for a guest room, entryway, or in a kitchen. It comes in two sizes - large and small. The last time I was in Europe I remember complimenting my aunt on her amazing rug only to find out that it was HM Home! Their premium linen collection is another best kept secret from them.

make - These gooey chocolate oatmeal bars. Sub the flour and oats for a gluten free option and I also used vegan chocolate chips! YUM!
