Sweater weather is finally here! Here are the styles that are in my rotation this month including a few that I purchased last Fall and couldnβt wait to wear again this year! Isnβt that the best feeling? THIS cardigan from Ulla Johnson is on my wishlist. It is even better in person and I love the colors.

The end of Summer doesnβt mean the end of white denim! I love wearing my white and off-white jeans all year round. Sharing this neutral transitional combo today that will take you right into Fall!

Iβve always loved a good road trip and now that our world has become just a little bit smaller, weβve been looking to some of our favorite (semi) local destinations for refuge. One positive change weβve noticed to car travel? Less traffic! Some drives that used to take 2.5 hours can now be done in less than two which makes all the difference when it comes to same day travel.
My requirements for a same day travel destination? Good food, interesting shops, and something to do outdoors whether its a long hike to a waterfall, a beautiful beach or vineyard to visit, or a historical destination. Frank and I love Sag Harbor because of its casual Hamptons vibe. There is so much to do in-town and just outside of it that it makes the perfect destination for a day or two. We had originally planned on spending the night there for our wedding anniversary in May but postponed for obvious reasons. When we got the opportunity to go out this month (and my mom agreed to watch the boys for the day) we decided why not! If youβre looking for more info on places to go and stay you can find my unofficial travel guide HERE. A more formal guide coming soon!

Every summer wardrobe needs an easy, breezy, white dress that you can throw on during a hot day or dress up for a dinner date. I love cotton dresses because theyβre breathable and washable so you donβt have to worry about βplayingβ in them. Wear your clothes! This classic silhouette by Jenni Kayne is my favorite this season (you can use code: ArtemisT20 for20% off). This is a great under $60 version and I also found this one for under $150. This is the one Iβm wearing in my IGTV. More sizes here and here.
This blouse is a great piece for Summer. The weight of it is ideal for the heat and the sleeve length makes it so versatile. Wear it tucked into denim shorts or throw it over a bathing suit and tie it at the waist. I also love a classic button-down like this one, but for summer I thought the collarless style felt fresh. You can find this one in my Fall Capsule Wardrobe.
This is my original favorite tee in my closet. I first discovered it when I was working for Theory and bought a couple more of them right before I left. They last and only get better with age (and washing!). If youβre looking for an off-white style, I also have this one. The texture is great!
For me, Summer style is defined by basics - white tees, maxi dresses, and soft denim. So how do you make a classic look stand out? Jewelry! When it comes to jewelry I like to keep things simple. Around my neck I wear a tiny initial necklace that my best friend gave me for my 30th birthday. When I want a little more of a layered look, I add necklaces like this wishbone style or this beaded style. I also love this herringbone chain style. I suggest sticking to 2-3 at various lengths!
I never really wore denim shorts until I found this pair. This is the exact style and color I have. I found the exact same fit in a non-distressed style here in denim and here in black. They are nearly sold out everywhere but wanted to link in case this is your size or you wanted to look it up in the future! Looking for an alternative under $100 style? This pair is great and is under $60. The fit is called the βcheekyβ and theyβre very flattering! I have them in the black too! Looking for a pair of white shorts? Love this creamy colored pair!
When I think of Summer denim I want something that is either white or light! I have this denim pair and its the best light wash for Spring, Summer, and even into Fall. I love the hem on these - itβs perfect for showing off a great sandal or for a barefoot night at the beach. This style is also a great alternative to white denim for bicycle riding and cool summer nights. Theyβre high waisted and easy to tuck in summer blouses our wear with a bathing suit. Looking for a great pair of white jeans? I love these!
When you first think of a Summer wardrobe your mind doesnβt immediately think βsweaterβ but youβll use one more than you think! A great light cotton sweater is a closet essential for this season. Breezy nights, fighting off mosquitos, I love wearing this one with shorts or throwing it over my shoulders with a maxi dress. This sand colored one is also under $100 and would be great into Fall!
Itβs no secret that Iβm obsessed with these sneakers. Theyβve been to Europe and back with me, are machine washable, and have been worn countless times over the last two years. To be honest, I donβt know what I was wearing before them! Actually I doβ¦my converse! I still love them but for Summer, these are so easy to slip on and go and their insanely comfortable. You wonβt be disappointed!
A great hat is the most essential Summer accessory. I love this classic Panama style from one of my favorite small businesses, Hat Attack. It comes in a natural style, and this black one as shown above and offers SPF protection from the sun. More about the brand - Hat Attack is a family owned business based in the Bronx, NY and all of their products are made in the USA. I can attest to the quality and craftsmanship which is so important when it comes to hats - they last year after year and travel well!
I love these sandals. They are one of the best under $100 styles Iβve ever worn. The leather is so buttery soft and they feel like youβre wearing a glove. Iβm wearing the light taupe color. I often get asked about the Hermes Oran sandals. I LOVE and am obsessed with them but they are probably one of the biggest splurges in my closet. That being said, are they worth it? For me they were but its such a personal answer. If youβre going to love them every.single.time. you put them on and theyβre going to give you a little pep in your step? Then yes! Save up and go for it! I store mine in their original box and treat them with kid gloves when Iβm not wearing them - a pair of shoes like these should last you a LONG time!
Summer is here which means lots of sun, spending time outside, and my favorite, wearing white dresses! I always get asked about undergarments and without the right slips in your closet, getting dressed can be a challenge. This one is my tried and true go-to for myself and my clients. Treat your undergarments very well and they will last for a long time (Iβve had this one for 5+ years). I wash mine by hand and always hang to dry!

My stay at home style is neutral, classic, and comfortable. One thing that has been helping me every day (besides getting dressed) is getting outside for a walk with the boys. Even if itβs just for 15 minutes, the fresh air has been doing wonders for all of us. You can say its part of my new SAH self-care routine! Whether weβre playing in the yard, having a picnic, or just hanging out, Sperry has every style I need. Today Iβm styling three of my favorite footwear styles for Spring: the sneaker, boat shoe, and leather mule. Each style is comfortable, classic, and chic. Something for everyone!

Iβm a neutral lover and especially love mixing earth tones like camel, army green, and beige. One style Iβve always had a thing for is the safari look. Walmart Fashion has an incredible selection of apparel and accessories that are both stylish and on trend. This field jacket is a wardrobe staple and probably one of my favorite pieces. I love it paired with everything from your favorite denim jeans to a white maxi dress. Both looks would look great with these raffia sandals! I ordered this cardigan for myself last week and ended up ordering a second on for my mom! It is incredibly soft, there is an extra band sewn into the top which prevents it from falling off your shoulders, and its the perfect length whether you taller (Iβm 5β8β) or on the shorter side (my mom is (5β3β). Whether youβre packing for an upcoming trip or looking to update your wardrobe with some classic pieces for Spring, Walmart is a great destination for all things apparel and accessories.

I love denim overalls like these. Theyβre so comfortable, easy to throw on, and can be worn during the Fall, Spring, and Summer. Style tip: pair them with a boho blouse, chunky knit, or a white ribbed t-shirt like this one.
When it comes to shopping a sale, Iβve always said less is more. I know that with phrases like βfewer, betterβ swirling around these days it may start to sound cliche, but really, donβt get duped into overfilling your cart for 15% off. My advice to my clients: At the beginning of every season start to hear the pieces you love. If you have to have them at full price, buy them. Chances are if youβre loving it, there could be 100 people behind you and if its a small brand, it will sell out. If you can wait, hold tight! Once a sale is announced youβll be prepared and can immediately shop your favorites. One impulse buy is OK but no one wants to end a season with a closet full of regrets. Below I rounded up four pieces Iβm eyeing this sale (or already have at home and love).

Date night doesnβt have to be dinner and a movie (I mean it can be) but donβt get down on yourself if it doesnβt look like it does in the movies. Weβve never really βcelebratedβ Valentineβs Day. When we were younger, Frank and I would try to get out to dinner together that night or another night that week and that was it. With two kids, a job, and a busy schedule, I live for the nights when we can get the boys to bed early, open a bottle of wine, and watch a movie uninterrupted. It is RARE! Recently what weβve been doing is trying to steal some time away during the day instead. For example going to a coffee shop together at 5pm on a Friday or breakfast alone on a Saturday morning. The thing I realized is its the time with each other that is important, and it doesnβt always have to look like a traditional βnight outβ. That being said, if you do find yourself being taken out for a night on the town, this top is gorgeous and worth the $69 price tag! I also have this lace style from the same brand in the ivory color which Iβve featured here before. I love it because the sleeve has just the right amount of puff and just like the black one, it also comes with a camisole.
