Spring Break with Mytheresa

I have always approached my wardrobe with a “quality over quantity” mentality and focused on investing in pieces that aren’t just of the moment or on trend. Mytheresa has always set the standard in luxury online shopping and I’m thrilled to be partnering with them on today’s post!

home - This new Zara Home collection Tuscan Villa is stunning. I’ve always wanted to try a jute rug like this one. Love the look of the squares. Maybe in our next house! Seems perfect for a dining room.

listen - What can Florida’s boom teach the rest of America? This podcast from The Economist is a great listen. make - Awesome red wine pot roast. THIS recipe is insane. One night between Christmas and New Years when we were all sick at home with covid my dad left a dutch oven on our front steps with this pot roast. I cannot tell you how insanely delicious it was (and healing). This is soul food. I made it myself last month for dinner with friends and everyone was floored. The ingredients are pretty simple so use the best you can get! I got the beef from our local butcher and went with heirloom carrots for a little extra color. This is a must try!

shopper - How great is this shopper tote? You really could use it for almost anything…gardening, farmer’s market or light groceries. I was thinking of using it for our “to-go” bag that we bring when we go out to a restaurant. It’s always filled with books, crayons and colored pencils, stickers, etc. It was also make for a sweet summer diaper bag - just add a monogram!

bath - Ok so this is so random and another H&M Home find but I have been on the hunt for a tray like this one for the longest time! We only have one bathtub in our house and its the kid’s so I’m actually going to use it for their toys! Makes draining them really easy and then you don’t have to bother with a suction cup thing that’s constantly falling off the wall. Genius!

feeling green

The last few weeks I’ve been getting the itch to entertain. The Northeast is still pretty chilly in April but there have been a few days that felt like a window into what’s to come and I can’t wait to spend more time outdoors. This season’s tabletop color for me is this beautiful grassy green - so fresh and bright!
