I’m a neutral lover and especially love mixing earth tones like camel, army green, and beige. One style I’ve always had a thing for is the safari look. Walmart Fashion has an incredible selection of apparel and accessories that are both stylish and on trend. This field jacket is a wardrobe staple and probably one of my favorite pieces. I love it paired with everything from your favorite denim jeans to a white maxi dress. Both looks would look great with these raffia sandals! I ordered this cardigan for myself last week and ended up ordering a second on for my mom! It is incredibly soft, there is an extra band sewn into the top which prevents it from falling off your shoulders, and its the perfect length whether you taller (I’m 5’8”) or on the shorter side (my mom is (5’3”). Whether you’re packing for an upcoming trip or looking to update your wardrobe with some classic pieces for Spring, Walmart is a great destination for all things apparel and accessories.

SUMMER SANDALS

Happy Friday everyone! Doing a quick roundup of my favorite sandals for summer. You don’t have to break the bank to achieve the look you want but I always suggest investing in a great pair of neutral leather sandals that you can leave year after year. Its almost shorts season! I’ve always struggled with shorts. I guess I have a longest of criteria when it comes to them - comfortable, not too short, and flattering around the thigh area. I wanted to try this pair all last summer but never pulled the trigger. I finally ended up ordering them this winter and instantly fell in love. They’re high-waisted so they suck everything in and are great for tucking in blouses which I love to do!

OK - another item on the hunt for. Self tanner! We’re planning a few three day vacations over the next three months and I would love to have a little bronzey glow:) I don’t really tan and even if I did I’m not in the sun enough to catch any real color. SO….send me your recs! I’d prefer to find something that is natural or organic if possible and will share recommendations and my reviews! My tan summer self thanks you:)

Call me crazy, and I’ve talked about this here before, but I love wearing black in the Spring and Summer! To me it feels more fresh paired with whites and ivory and I love the transitional combo. I’ve been on the hunt for a new black sandal to replace a pair that I’ve had for almost 10 years and just finally threw away. I love the buckle detail on these and how easy they are to slip on while I’m running out the door to work or school drop-off (usually with my hands full). They also come in a beige canvas striped style if you’re looking for a lighter neutral!

I wore these distressed black jeans on Saturday night paired with this open cardigan. I took a chance on the cardigan because its something i’ve really needed but I wasn’t sure what the quality was going to be like at a $10 price point. True story: I came downstairs and Frank said, “Wow, is that a new sweater?!” (insert laughing emoji). The BEST steal I’ve ever found!

I found my entire look at Walmart and each piece is under $100. I love that I can find everything I need for myself or for my clients with the Walmart premium brands and their selections from Lord & Taylor.

Some days I think I might love a good jumpsuit more than a dress. There's nothing better than someone thinking you're wearing pants and SURPRISE...pants! PS pockets are always a bonus for me. Full length jumpsuits can almost always take you from day to night and they are absolutely a closet staple. I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it. I usually don't love blue but the pale robin's egg color reminded me of a vintage Ralph Lauren pattern. it's definitely a splurge but I thought it was a great alternative to a dress for summer weddings, baby showers, etc, and I could really dress it up. If you've been following me for a little while now you know, I love white dresses! I saw this one and I had to have it. I was pleasantly surprised the price because the quality is excellent and it has a great weight to it. The fact that it can be worn as a wrap dress or a kimono was an added bonus and value! These sandals are also a STEAL! They come in black in this sandal version and are also offered in a high heel and sling back. Love the gray-blue color.

SNOW DAY and I'm sitting here imagining myself walking down a warm Charleston street in this pretty dress, straw bag in hand filled with flowers! LOL one can dream! This dress almost made it into this week's lust list but it just didn't fit! A great price point though for this style and quality. I also found this style for under $100 IF you can go without a bra (I wish!). AND these white sneaks are so cute for spring/summer and also under $100. Love the jute sole!
